Monarto Southern Zone PCASA ODE Championships 24 & 25th June 2000

eventide.jpg (26067 bytes)This competition is also known as the Francis Figwer Memorial and was held at the Monarto Equestrian Centre over the weekend of the 24th & 25th of June.

Adult Level 2 Stephen Bow and Eventide were in third place after the dressage but after the cross country and showjumping phases this pair were in front on 69.00. Karen Perry and Backchat took second place with two faultless displays in the jumping phases finishing on their dressage score of 69.60. Deborah Collins and Springling Foxtrot took third placing on 75.80 after a faultless cross country and a rail down in the showjumping.

Pony Club Grade 1 This class proved very challenging for competitors with all jumping carefully and completing the course but incurring a low number of time faults. Amelia McFetridge and JB Maximillian from Onkaparinga PC took out the class with a score of 70.20 from Jessica Collis and Wild at Heart from Goolwa on 73.50. Third place was taken by Tanya Taarnby and Tag-Along Apparition of Gawler River on 75.50.

tudorparkmontecarlo.jpg (24307 bytes)Pony Club Grade 2 Kendal Measroch and Tudor Park Monte Carlo of Mylor Valley finished the dressage phase well ahead of the field on 47.70. Despite a rail down showjumping this pair still had enough in hand to win with an overall score of 52.70. Second placing was taken by Katie McMahon and Mistress Monjulia of Mt Lofty PC finishing on their dressage score of 54.90. Katherine Lindh and Talquah Bannon also representing the Mylor Valley PC took third place jumping faultlessly to finish on their dressage score of 55.20.

Pony Club Grade 3 All three placegetters in this event were faultless throughout the jumping phases and finished on their dressage score. Kylie Potter and Odeysea of Golden Spur PC won the class on 55.10. Ulli Maynard-Stagat and Mystacal Enchanter of the One Tree Hill PC were second on 57.60 with third placing taken by Danielle Wlochowicz and Indian Wave of Mt Lofty PC on 58.80. A total of 22 combinations completed all three phases of this class.

belantic.jpg (20654 bytes)Adult Level 3 Polly Warford and Belantic continued their winning form from Gawler to take out this class on their dressage score of 54.00. The grey standardbred Cloud Nine ridden by Lisa Davies was second on their dressage score of 60.30. Third place was taken by Lynette Northway and Seldiva who had a rail down during the showjumping on 64.70.
