The sale consisted of two days of the Select session with the third day the Summer session. Of around 1000 yearlings entered 606 were selected to be sold over the three days making this the biggest sale of recent times in Adelaide. Of the 399 yearlings offered in the Select sessions 306 were sold for an average price of $40,251. Lot 274 was the topseller at $210,000 and the sale aggregate was $12, 316, 750. In the Summer session 150 of the 209 lots catalogued sold with an average of $13,593. The top price was $40,000 for Lot 434 and the sale aggregate was $2,039,000.

The first lot offered of the sale was part of the Mill Park (as agent) draft and is the second foal of her dam. Jazzy Lady is a half sister to the Group 1 winner Beau George, who was a renowned sprinter in South Australia winning 13 races including 8 stakes races, plus 7 other winners. She was sold to Mark Minervini of South Australia for $25,000

This flashy filly was offered by Gawler Park Stud and is a half sister to exciting 3yo Exclusive Jewel, promising 2yo Snippet's Jewel and Pompano. Her second dam is Exclusive Heiress the dam of Group winners Exclusive Halo and Miss Jugah and 4 other winners. She is sired by Timber Country whose first Australian yearlings are now being offered for sale. He is a half brother to 8 stakeswinners including Northern Aspen. Hamas, Bianconi and Fort Wood with all being out of legendary broodmare Fall Aspen. Lot 3 was purchased by Wolf Blass of South Australia for $72,500.

This colt is the fourth foal of his dam and a half brother to winners Alimony and Trainspotting with the other foal yet to start a racing career. Kalera is out of Jeckale who produced the stakewinner Malibu Magic and three other winners. His third dam is Sasha who produced the Group 1 winner Shaybisc who in turn later foaled sprinters Asarka and Bradshaw along with Sashed the dam of Freemason. Grand Lodge is a promising sire with his oldest Australian crop only 4 years of age and progeny including stakeswinners Freemason, Shogun Lodge, Lovelorn and Avilde with his standout Northern Hemisphere produce being Sinndar.   Lot 9 was offered by Wakefield Stud and purchased by the Freedman Brothers of Victoria for $47,500

Offered by Tremon Thoroughbred (as agent) this colt is the third foal of his dam. Lady Lan is one of 12 foals of Jennifina who had 10 to race for 10 winners including the stakeswinner Countess Caboul and the multiple winners Lighthouse Watson, King of Atlantis, Couleur de Rose, Mister Shoosh, Atlafina and Desert Child. Revoque has his first Australian bred yearlings for sale this year. A member of the Northern Dancer sireline he headed the 1996 European 2yo Classifications and won 2 Group 1 races plus being placed second in the Two Thousand Guineas during a very brief career. This colt was purchased by Mark Pilkington Bloodstock Victoria for $50,000.

La Jugah won 6 races and this offering is her third foal with her other two foals yet to race. La Jugah's dam Patsy produced four foals for four winners and traces to the stakeswinner My Honeychild. Keltrice is the sire of stakeswinners Northeast Sheila and Dashing Granada plus the stakes placed Lezayre, Sally Magic and Mavourtrice. He also sired Barossa Broadway the winner of the inaugural Adelaide Magic Millions Classic run two days before this years sale. This colt was offered by Tabasco Lodge (as agent) and purchased by George Yeo for $30,000.

A half sister to last years saletopper this filly was expected to attract a great deal of interest. Offered by Gawler Park Stud she is also a half sister to Nina Haraka winner of 3 stakes races plus 3 group 1 placings during her career so far. La Nebbia is out of Hit It Misty a half sister to Tennessee Vain (dam of Tennessee Morn, Tennessee Mist, Tennessee Magic, Academic), Tennessee Jack and Vain Rancher. Royal Academy is the sire of Oscar Schindler, Ali Royal, Sarson Trail, Honour The Name and Kenwood Melody with his oldest Australian progeny 5 years of age. Mark Pilkington Bloodstock Victoria purchased this filly for $135,000.

Sired by the stallion that produced the stakeswinners Fappiano's Son, Magnifier and Road to Success this colt is the fourth living foal of his dam. Latin Halo's only foal to race so far is a winner and the mare herself is a half sister to multiple winner Cannes Resort. Latin Halo won five races herself and was stakesplaced in Melbourne and Adelaide. This colts third dam is the stakeswinner Grey Hostess who produced Matihi Bay (dam of stakeswinners Runaway Knight and Satellite Bay plus Kiss a Halo dam of promising duo Toorak Thunder and Regal Kiss), Show Ranee (dam of stakeswinner Showy Gift) and Spicy Living (dam of stakeswinner Peta Gay). Offered by Tabasco Lodge (as agent for Roslyn Park) this lot was purchased by John Chalmers Bloodstock of Western Australia for $34,000.

Offered by Torryburn Stud this colt is by the champion sire in Rory's Jester. A Golden Slipper winner Rory's Jester has sired 58 stakeswinners including promising sire Racer's Edge, Chortle, Aragen, Isca, Moss Rocket, etc while Magpies was a metropolitan Sydney winner. This colt is the second foal of his dam with her first foal a 2yo who sold through this sale last year. Magpies is a half sister to multiple winners Salieri's Son, Lord Zamazaan, Bold and Rare and Grey Paradiso. The colt's third dam is Beautiful Dreamer who produced Jesmond Lass dam of Group 1 winners Canny Lad and Canny Lass along with Canny Miss the dam of Group 1 winner Camerena. He was purchased by Kuek Ser Kee for $85,000.
