Adelaide visit by Qantas A380

Saturday was also the day that the brand new giant passenger aircraft the Qantas Airbus A380 made its first visit to Adelaide.  Cited as pilot training the visit was a great public relations exercise with the aircraft being parked at the end of the runway extension alongside a viewing area so many members of the public could see the plane up very close.  Adelaide airport is probably one of the few airports in the country that could section off one end of the runway for such an exercise.  Included below are some photos of other international flights to take off and land for comparison in size to the new plane.
