Offered by Caithness Breeding this colt is by the superstar stallion Redoute's Choice from the Dr Grace mare No Limit.  Stakesplaced No Limit won eight races but has only produced one foal to race at this stage.  The colt was purchased by local trainer Mark Kavanagh for $150,000.

This bay colt was offered by Widden Stud and is by successful racehorse and sire General Nediym from winning mare Palace Scandal.  Palace Scandal has produced five foals to race for three winners including the stakesplaced Heir Affair.  She is from the stakeswinner Palace Gossip who also produced stakeswinning stayer Mountebank.  This colt was passed in for $75,000 with a reserve of $100,000.

Sired by second season sire Delago Brom this filly is from race winner Pieta (by Clay Hero) a daughter of grand producer My Madonna.  My Madonna has produced the Group 1 winner Divine Madonna and stakeswinner Blessum plus multiple city winner Maduro.  Offered by Mill Park (as agent) this tilly was passed in for $42,500 with reserve of $70,000.  

A member of Hold That Tiger's first crop this colt is from the At Talaq mare Pitch who has produced three foals to race with all being winners.  Pitch is from Beautiful Century who foaled the stakeswinner Natural Tycoon plus the stakesplaced Turbulent Force and Djibouti amongst her 7 winners.  Offered by Willow Grove Stud he was purchased by Dynamic Syndications for $45,000.

The only yearling in the sale by promising young sire Real Jester was this colt offered by Lindsay Park.  From the stakeswinning Zabaleta mare Pluton he is a full brother to the stakeswinner Red Pluton.  He was purchased by Daniel Lee of Hong Kong for $140,000.
Offered by J & P Glenney this filly is by the Sadler's Wells sire Galileo from Redoute's Charm (by Redoute's Choice) and is her first foal.  This filly's grand dam is the stakeswinner Rhythmic Charm who produced 8 to race for 7 winners including the stakesplaced Sports Freak.  She was purchased by Magic Millions as agent for $180,000. 
A member of the Baramul Stud draft this colt is by promising sire Commands from Reinforce who has produced three winners including the stakesplaced Show of Force (dam of three winners).  Second dam Fancy Babe is the dam of Golden Slipper winner Encounter from her 8 foals to race with all winning races.  He was purchased by Paul Willetts of NZ for $70,000.


Also offered by Baramul Stud this filly is by General Nediym from the Personal Hope mare Revised.  Revised has produced the multiple race winner Namdo Choegang and is from champion racemare Research who has produced three winners including the US winner Crooked Root.  From the family of Blazing Saddles and Shackle this filly was purchased by Pacific Bloodstock for $80,000. 

Sired by star sprinter and promising sire Choisir this filly is from the city winning Amen Brother mare Shabet.  Shabet is the dam of stakeswinner Shablec plus four others winners including Kenshou from 5 to race.  Offered by Kambula Stud this filly was purchased by Kennewell Racing for $230,000.

Offered by Mill Park this colt is by Catbird from Umatilla mare Siren Miss.  This is the second living foal of Siren Miss with the first being the promising Spectro.  Siren Miss is from God's Tune who has produced the stakeswinner Umatune (by Umatilla), dam of recent Perth Magic Millions winner Jestatune, and stakesplaced Godswaki.  He was purchased by Mark Kavanagh for $90,000.

Offered by Braeburn Park this colt is by Choisir from Royal Academy mare Swim Queen.  Swim Queen is from Teneriffe dam of 9 winners including the star sprinter Toledo plus two further stakeswinners in Less Than Zero and You are My Sweety plus stakesplaced Bart.  This colt was passed in for $75,000 with a reserve of $80,000.

Offered by Ballarto Lodge (as agent) this colt is by Jeune from the Marscay mare Tennessee Moon.  Second dam is the stakeswinner Tennessee Vain who has produced three stakeswinners in Tennessee Morn (dam of SW Tennessee Midnight), Tennessee Mist and Tennessee Magic (dam of SW Trezevant & SP Step Ahead) plus the stakesplaced Academic and Tennessee Spirit.  He was purchased by Rod Griffiths for $50,000.

A member of Hussonet's second crop this colt was offered by Grange Thoroughbreds and is from the Clay Hero mare Tipsy on Ice.  His second dam is the multiple stakeswinner Coconut Ice who has produced the stakesplaced winner Genuine Strike.  This colt was purchased by Kennewell Racing for $60,000.

Offered by Braeburn Park as agent this colt is by Tale of the Cat, sire of Glamour Puss, Falkirk, etc from the stakesplaced Sir Tristram mare Tristavente.  She has produce two to race including the multiple winner Tridancer as is from teh family of Peintre Celebre.  He was purchased by Kim Harrison & Jon O'Connor for $45,000.

Sired by Redoute's Choice this filly was the top selling lot of the Adelaide Magic Millions sale.  She is from the Volksraad mare Tully Lass and is her first foal.  Tully Lass is from Alberton Lass who has produced three stakeswinners in Sir Alberton, Alberton Star (dam of winner Big Red Robe) and Straussbridge (dam of SP Dancing Bridges and two other winners).  Offered by Grange Thoroughbreds as agent she was purchased by Badgers Bloodstock NSW for $280,000.

If you have purchased a yearling sold through the recent Adelaide Magic Millions sales and you are looking for photos taken during the sales week  I can be contacted via email on barnesphotography@bigpond.com.  Many yearlings were photographed for this Virtual Formguide report but many others were photographed walking in and around the parade ring. 

Photographs taken during sales week are used on the Virtual Formguide and national printed publications in reviews of the sale.  Later they are used in these racing pictorials when the yearlings go on to racetrack success.

The photos included in this report and others from the raceday are available for sale.
