Adelaide Royal Show 2009 The rider classes started on Saturday with the Boy or girl rider 5-8 years where Tori Fair was successful from Victoria Fricker and Madeline Pagon while the Girl or Boy rider 8-10 years went to Brynie Lee from Erika Grant and Jaimee Bruggemann. Girl rider 10-12 years was awarded to Kira-Lee Newman from Grace Hill and Alice McEvoy while the Boy rider 10-14 years was taken out by Brandon Douglas from James Moloney and Mitchell Baker. Lillian McEvoy was declared the winner in the Girl Rider 12-14 years from Sophie Grose and Chelsea Morelli while the Good Hands Championship for 12 years and under went to Jasmine Anderson from Shauna Chaplin and Nicole Metcalfe. Sunday saw the Smartest on Parade for boys and girls 12 years and under decided with first awarded to Jessica Dunn riding Cheraton Royal Scandal from Erika Grant riding Richdale Tuscany with Jasmine Anderson riding Kolbeach Secrets third. The Good Hands Championship 13-18 years was decided on Wednesday with victory going to Tess Hughes from Naomi Karutz and Emily Dennis while the Lady Rider 18-21 years was taken out by Melissa Karutz from Sherrie Lee and Stephanie Barrington. Rose McEvoy took out the Girl Rider 14-16 years from Taylah Arnott with Tess Hughes third while GIrl Rider 16-18 years went to Courtney Remington from Holly Grose and Amanda Reid. Lady Rider over 21 years went to Rebecca Farrow from Lisa Jones and Briony Payne. On Thursday Gentleman Rider 18 years and over was awarded to Adam Oliver from Clint Bilson with Malcolm Macrae third while the Intermediate Champion Equestrian was taken out by Amanda Reid and Farleigh Leander from Holly Grose riding Keanbree De Ja Vu with Tamara Lee riding Wesswood Seduction third. Rebecca Farrow continued her success both as a rider and with Stage Lyric in the hack ring in taking out the Champion Equestrian 18 years and over from Rachel Lawrie and Bond with Adele Gardiner riding French Resort third. The Boy rider 14-18 years was won by Mitchell Fox from Clayton Struck with Tyson Zootjens third. Champion Junior rider 14-18
years went to Rose McEvoy with the Reserve Champion going to Taylah Arnott.
