Adelaide Royal Show 2006 RAS Showgrounds. 1st September to 9th September
Rider Classes The rider classes started with Girl Rider 10-12 Years which was won by Tessa Hughes from Jaimie Stichel with Brooke Graham third. The Girl or Boy Rider 5-8 years was won by Hannah Woollatt from Grace Hill and Hayley Norman. Thomas Madigan was declared the winner in the Girl or Boy Rider 8-10 years from Jasmine Anderson and Brooke Egel-Eaton while Boy Rider 10-14 years went to Mitchell Fox from Nicholas Lundquist and Thomas Struck. Girl Rider 12-14 years went to Beau Cunning from Demi Morrison and Sophie Coleman. Saturday saw the Good Hands Championship for Boy and Girl Riders under 12 with Tessa Hughes taking out the class from Brooke Graham and Nicholas Lundquist. On Sunday Smartest on Parade was won by Victoria Gorst riding Coniston Sportsman while the Leading Rein went to Olivia Richardson riding Roseagle Rhapsody. The Parent and Child Riding Class was taken out by Heather and Nicholas Lundquist from Karyn and Jasmine Anderson. Monday saw the Junior Champion Equestrian decided with victory going to Demi Morrison riding Cherrywood High Flyer from Sophie Coleman riding Kylandee Royal Heights with Tamara Lee riding Wesswood Seduction third. The Pair of Riders went to Dylan Dunn and Demi Morrison from Nicholas Lundquist and Jessica Gibson with Brooke Graham and Jaimie Stichel third. Tuesday's first rider class was the Boy Rider 14-18 which went to Cooper Oborn from Stuart Archibald and Daniel Hines. The Intermediate Equestrian was awarded to Prue Chamberlain riding Watergate from Olivia O'Connor riding Uncovered with Jaclyn Jacobson riding Kings third. The Girl Rider 14-16 was taken out by Emma Marie from Stephanie Barrington and Alexandra Jacobi while the Girl Rider 16-18 years went to Courtney Christie from Caitlin Graham and Melissa Karutz. Wednesday saw the Champion Gentleman Rider taken out by Phillip Bobic from Ben Hill and Greg Crocker while the Lady Rider 21 years and over was awarded to Margot Haynes from Rachel Lawrie and Briony Payne. Thursday morning's first class was the Good Hands Championship for 13-18 years where Melissa Karutz was successful from sister Naomi Karutz with Katelin Clark third. The Champion Equestrian for riders 18 and over was awarded to Adele Gardiner riding French Resort from Rachel Lawrie riding Sansarin Bay with Leanne Donoghue riding Dance for Me third. Pair of riders 18 years and over went to the polished display of Helen Jansson and Amanda Lock who even had their horses stride in sync for the majority of the class while the Pair of Riders 14-18 years was taken out by Melissa Karutz & Lucy Forrest from Louise and Samantha Clancy with Ellie Clark and Sabrina Jaeschke third. On Friday Champion Lady Rider was awarded to Margot Haynes with Rachel Lawrie named as the Reserve Champion.
