| Unfortunately at the time of
writing only limited results were available for Saturday's events
Every year it just isn't the
Royal Adelaide Show unless it rains. Last year the weather turned on
the Tuesday this year it was Saturday when the rain came down at a steady
rate throughout the day. It only stopped late in the afternoon after
the Grand Parade. However officials and competitors braved the
conditions to continue on with the days' classes.
Hack
A small field turned out for the
Pony Hack ne 11hh where T&N O'Connor's grey pony Doongara Daniel was
successful from S Cordell's Cefnon Parc Centurian. The Pony Hack
11-11.2hh was taken out by P Schmidt's Dalpura Pearl from Corumbene Stud's
Imperial Pippa and I Barker's Rivington Victoria. Courtney Remington
continued on from her success on Friday riding Eleda Park Yeoman to victory
in the Light Galloway Hack from S Coleman's Kylandee Royal Heights and D
MacDonld's Willowcroft Showpan.
Showjumping
The Power and Speed class was taken out by Rebecca Allen
riding Lorikeet who recorded a time early on that proved unbeatable.
Ben Jolley took a fall off BR Steiger mid round but both horse and rider
escaped injury.
Rider
The Good Hands Competition Championship for boy and girls 12 and under was
decided with Katelin Clark successful from Shannen Graham with Dylan Dunn
third.
