| Showjumping The World Cup Qualifying Round was the main event of today's classes with two horses Murray Sproull & Stolen Monarch and Rebecca Allen & Lorikeet going clear with the latter eventually winning on time. Third place was taken by R Agnew riding DP Envy. In the morning the Junior Jumping Contest went to Kira Arnold & Keeping Up Appearances from Hayden Kneebone & Xena with Holly Williams & Astral third. Rider classes The Champion Gentleman Rider was taken out by Darryl Hayes from Darren Taylor and Greg Crocker. The Lady Rider 21 years and over went to Margot Haynes from Pam Ahern with Briony Payne third. Hack Classes The main ridden classes were for the open hacks today. Early in the day the Gentleman's Hack was won by B Scholes & G Beaton's Lemrac's Dancing Poet from G McCann's Maddison Avenue and G Crocker's Akhtar. Hack 15-15.2hh was awarded to C Frost & F Christie's Elmdale Park Poise from D&L Vella's Wingrove Image with J Best's Twain third. The Hack 15.2-16hh was decided next with P Ahern & W Coyle's Hype winning from B Scholes & G Beaton's Lemrac's Dancing Poet with C Frost & F Christie's Dashing third. S Penny's SP Havana was successful in the Hack 16-16.2hh with M Haynes' Grazier second and J&G Ladlaw's Night of Fame third. Hack over 16.2hh saw Lyndale Stables & J Jacobson's DP Idol in first place from S Penny's Zanardi with S Watkin's WL Envy third. |
