with the Lady's Galloway Hack being taken out by Margot Haynes' Farleigh
Leander from R Elliott & R Barry's Mirinda Height of Fashion and S Coleman's
Kylandee Royal Heights. The Best Novice Galloway Hack was awarded to S
Penny's Willowcroft Regal Rhapsody. Pony Hack ne 12hh went to K&N&D
Riemer's Roseagle Rhapsody with J Devrome & E Richardson's Mallawa Park
Legendary second with D&K Viceban's Langtree Snippets in third place.
The Heavyweight Galloway Hack was awarded to A Giustozzi's Designer Label
from A Crichton's Silkwood Shakespeare with S Penny's Willowcroft Regal
Rhapsody third. The Pony Hack 12 to 13hh was awarded to E Machar's
Syon Serenade from J Devrome's Karlana Royal Watches with S Rich's Kira
Royal A Fair third. The Pony Hack 13 to 14hh went to C Mitton'
Brierdale Sequel with S&T Jaeschke' Weatherley Enchantment second and K&N&D
Riemer's Roseagle Sea Sonata third. The Shetland Pony Hack attract
three entrants but after an inspection all three were declared ineligible
for the event. The conditions state that the pony is 'to be shown in
natural coat and full feather' and it was deemed that all three had been
clipped at some stage. The entrants were permitted to work out before
the judge but no prizes were awarded. I Barker's Rivington Harriet was
successful in the Pony Hack ne 11hh from M&N Bruggemann's Macdhui Sallys
Surprise with K Shattell's Woranora Neapoleon third. A huge field of
30 lined up for the Lightweight Galloway Hack with victory going to R
Elliott & R Barry's Mirinda Height of Fashion with S Watkin's Eleda Park
Yeoman placed second and M Karutz's Beaufort Domingo third. The Pony
Hack 11 - 11.2hh went to R&C Gale's Imperial Pippa from D Walker-Matthews'
Langtree Lilly Pilly with D,S & I Rich's Glynyarra Park Classic third.
K&N&D Riemer's Roseagle Rhapsody took out the Pony Hack 12-12.2hh from R&C
Gale's Kolbeach Toy Story with T Hughes' Janlyn Royal Secret third. R
Elliott & R Barry's mirinda Height of Fashion continued in winning form
taking the Child's Galloway event from Margot Haynes' Farleigh Leander and S
Barratt's Wodbine Watermark.
After a reportedly dramatic
Grand Parade where a bull momentarily got away from its handler the hack
classes continued. The Pony Hack 12.2-13hh was awarded to Lyndale
Stables & L Warburton's Falconhurst Classic with N Parson's Toy Town of
Astral second and S Rich's Lesfield Toymaster third. L Doyle's Janlyn
Three Wishes was chosen as the winner of the Gentleman's Galloway Hack with
K O'Brien's Mirinda matador second and Fauve Hauschild's Wrenwood Delegate
third. The final class late in the day was the Pony Hack 13-13.2hh
with D Plumb's Yindarla Park Paris successful from K&N&D Riemer's Roseagle
Sea Sonata with K White's Langtree Galaxy third.
Rider
The Good Hands Competition Championship for boys and girls under 12 years
was awarded to Isabelle Barker with Shannen Graham second and Daniel Hines
third.
