| Jumping Monday started with a showjumping class which was taken out by Jamie Kermond riding Stylish King from Kristy Bruhn and Murph with Rebecca Allen riding RSB Nightingale third. The two other jumping contests were two rounds of the same event the Grand Prix which was ultimately taken out by TEP Clover Flush. Rider classes The morning saw the Champion Junior Equestrienne for girl riders 12 to 15 years decided. Victory went to Simone Pearce and Skye Domanique with the Reserve Champion awarded to Jessica Stalling and Up Town Girl. The Parent Child class was held after lunch with SJ & Sara Warren taking out the event from Karen and Ashlee Anderson with Narelle and Trent Godden in third place. Boy rider 12 to 18 years went to Adam Metcalfe from L Oborn and Blake Parham. The pairs events also started today with victory in the Pair of Riders 10 to 14 years going to Shannen Graham and Courtney Remington from Jessica Stalling and Lucy Forrest. Hack classes The Gentleman's Galloway hack went to L Doyle's Janlyn Three Wishes with K Fisher and C Cunliffe's Danehill Waltz second and Kristy O'Brien's Mirinda Matador third. The Pair of Pony Hacks went to Ellie Clark's Myscal Sonata and Tessa Hughes' Janlyn Royal Secret from I Barker's Rivington Harriet and S Pollard's Majestic of Wyuna. The Champion Show Hunter Pony was awarded to Jaclyn Jacobson's County Liar with C Thompson's Glo Brook Georgie Boy named Reserve Champion. R Barry's Mirinda Height of Fashion took out the Galloway Hack 14 to 14.2hh from S Penny and R Parker's Janpril Park Valentina. The Galloway Hack 14.2 to 15hh went to E Pickstock's Sanlirra Spellbound with Jill Best's Twain second and Lyndale Stables and L Warburton's KB Superstar third. The Show Hunter 14 to 15hh was taken out by L Doyle's Janlyn Three Wishes with Edwina Harrison's Rathowen Timothy second and A Hudd's Donlea Magic Moment third. The SunSmart Regional Grand Slam Pony was award to Kelli Probert's Tallyrand Easter Promise. Novelties The hectic Open Thread and Needle race was a keenly contested event with Lake Tyrell QH Stud's Lake Tyrell Icon winning from Ebondale Stud and CP Allen's CP Dancing Queen with D Viceban's Lady Luck third. Late in the day the Musical Chairs on Horseback were held with victory in the Gentleman riders event going to D Viceban's Lady Luck from CP Dancing Queen while Lake Tyrell QH Stud's Teeno was too good for PJ Byar's Dillon and KA Rehn's Hot Shot in the Lady Riders event. |
